Principles of our work

Why we work as we work

A high degree of complexity, challenging clients and a mind-set of knowledge workers are the key players in today’s business. Many enterprises and organisations realise that they have to say goodbye to the “old idea” of management or are already on the way. The market dynamics and complexity are really high so that the aged management principle of “thinking at the top – acting at the bottom” does not work anymore. Traditional planning and corporate business control continue to become more and more a mythos. These tools have been good and helpful in secure times but today (almost) no enterprise expects such times.

However, today managers and executives still have great influence. And their work is more effective if they take into account controlling mechanisms of the inner organisation.

We don’t believe in tools and methods which are supposed to reduce complexness. Complexity simply exists. And you cannot combated it in an easy way.

The answers to this complexity are new patterns of collaboration and a distinct ability of the whole organisation to think about itself. Collective sensemaking is the key word here. Every part of the organisation is allowed to act and think and discuss this matter with others. Actually, this is really welcomed and intended.

Common sense, real commitment and a lot of individual motivation develops by these means. The company will be an “innovative organisation”.
